Starting his DJ career in 1995 with what is now old skool (but was just new at the time), BCee fell in love with the sound of musical drum ‘n’ bass in 2001. Teaming up with Kubiks, the duo went on to launch Rubik Records in 2002 with their debut production ‘Life Changes’. In 2005 he teamed up with Lomax and together they released some 30+ tracks across labels such as Innerground, Fokuz, Nu:Directions and of course Spearhead Records.
In 2005 BCee moved to Ibiza, Spain and launched Spearhead Records. The next two years saw BCee play all around the globe alongside the resident Spearhead Records night at Café Paradis, Ibiza.
Since returning to the UK in 2008, BCee has kept himself busy as CEO of Spearhead Records. His debut solo EP ‘Generations’ was released in 2009 and in 2010 Spearhead Records released ‘5, Re:Mixed, Re:Wired, Re:Wound’ mixed by BCee to celebrate 5 years of the labels success.
